Job Description
Our client is a healthcare-oriented organization partnering with the local Spokane Pride to celebrate diversity and inclusivity during their annual Pride event on June 13, 2026. Spokane Pride is recognized for hosting vibrant community events that promote family-friendly activities, live music, food, and entertainment for all ages. The event is an opportunity to engage with participants from varied backgrounds, showing support for the LGBTQ+ community through festive and interactive experiences.
This healthcare client will be hosting a unique booth themed around the Tooth Fairy, specifically designed to delight children and families attending the event. The booth focuses on creativity and play, featuring activities such as decorating fairy wings with glitter glue and other craft materials, creating a magical and memorable atmosphere for attendees. The person hired for the Onsite Event Support role will be crucial in facilitating this interactive experience, ensuring that both the children and their families have a wonderful time while encouraging positive community engagement.
This position is part-time and onsite, requiring attendance from 11:20 AM to 4:00 PM on the day of the event. The role involves close collaboration with team members and interaction with the public, emphasizing excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor. Following the event, the candidate will contribute to the teardown and cleanup efforts, which include dismantling the canopy tent and carrying folding tables and other equipment, though no heavy lifting over 30 lbs is required.
Candidates must be prepared to undergo a background check prior to the event, as they may have access to sensitive and confidential client or customer systems and data, including medical information. Compliance with privacy protocols and professionalism are essential aspects of this role.
The successful candidate will benefit from being part of a supportive community atmosphere during the event and will gain valuable experience in event support and community engagement for healthcare-related initiatives. Additionally, this opportunity is offered through Everforth Creative Circle, a recruitment firm committed to equal employment opportunities and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship and must perform the work physically within the U.S.
This role offers a unique blend of community involvement, healthcare support, and event coordination during one of Spokane's most celebrated annual events. Applicants can expect to gain firsthand experience in public interaction, event logistics, and teamwork, all while representing a reputable healthcare organization at an important community gathering. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in dynamic, people-centered environments and who are enthusiastic about contributing to meaningful cultural events that support diversity and inclusion.
