Job Description

Fooda is a dynamic company revolutionizing workplace dining experiences through its innovative food programs. Operating across more than 20 major cities in the United States, Fooda partners with over 2,000 local restaurants to provide fresh, chef-created meals delivered directly to office buildings and companies. Each Fooda location features a rotating selection of restaurants, ensuring that employees have access to a diverse range of culinary options, making lunch an enjoyable and anticipated part of their workday. Beyond just food delivery, Fooda leverages technology to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction, making it a beloved perk in the workplace for eight out of ten employees who consider Fooda among their company’s top benefits.

Fooda is currently seeking dedicated Event Coordinators to join their team in various U.S. markets, with a focus on supporting their expanding client roster. This role is perfect for candidates with a background in hospitality or events, who are enthusiastic about food service and eager to engage with customers and local restaurant partners. The position is part-time, offering between 25 to 30 hours per week during regular business hours, primarily covering lunch hours from 10 am to 2 pm with some flexibility between 8 am and 4 pm depending on market needs. Event Coordinators play a vital role in ensuring the seamless setup and breakdown of Fooda events onsite, acting as the onsite face for both customers and restaurant partners. They are responsible for delivering equipment and food to event locations, managing technical tools such as point-of-sale systems and digital menu boards, troubleshooting any operational issues, and providing exceptional customer service to resolve concerns promptly.

Working at Fooda offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing company that values innovation, community, and quality experiences. Event Coordinators gain exposure to Fooda's proprietary technology and operational procedures, expanding their skill set within the growing food service and event management industry. The role supports premier accounts, particularly in competitive markets like New York, offering networking opportunities, potential career advancement, and the chance to work closely with a diverse range of restaurants. Fooda’s culture emphasizes friendliness, high energy, resourcefulness, and a can-do attitude, with a strong focus on excellent communication and organization skills. Candidates who thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and who are detail-oriented and self-motivated will find this position highly rewarding.
