The role of the Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, also known as the In-Store Grocery Shopper, is integral to our e-commerce team. This position involves selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders with utmost attention to freshness and quality. The clerk is responsible for assembling orders accurately, processing coupons and payments, and ensuring smooth delivery and loading of orders to customers' vehicles upon their arrival at the store. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service, fostering positive customer experiences that encourage continued use of our online shopping platform.

In addition to operational tasks, the Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk communicates efficiently with customers regarding substitutions or exceptions to their orders, ensuring transparency and satisfaction. The position also necessitates adherence to local, state, and federal laws, especially those concerning food safety and company guidelines. Candidates who join our team will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of product selection, order accuracy, and customer interaction, all of which contribute to the success of our online grocery service. Job Duties

Select and gather products for customers' online orders with attention to freshness and quality
initiate and complete selection process for customers' online orders
assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payment, and deliver and load orders to cars upon arrival
scan and bag orders on the go following all bagging standards
communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customer orders at time of pick-up
meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones
read and follow directions given in the note section
ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen
communicate with customers via portable phone professionally and timely
retrieve each customer's order from staging locations and ensure order accuracy
load order into customers' vehicles
