The Omni Supervisor role at BJ's Wholesale Club is a crucial leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple digital and operational initiatives including BOPIC (Buy Online Pick Up In Club), Same Day Delivery, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club services. Reporting closely to the Assistant Club Manager, this position ensures that all omni-channel functions run efficiently and that club performance expectations are consistently met or exceeded. As a leader within the club, the Omni Supervisor drives team member engagement, cultivates a culture of collaboration, and champions service excellence to deliver an outstanding member experience.

The role requires strong business acumen, with the ability to interpret key metrics and reports that influence total club and departmental performance. The Omni Supervisor is responsible for leading change, building high-performing teams, and fostering a safe and positive work environment that embraces diversity and inclusion. This position also involves hands-on responsibilities such as processing member orders, managing digital device usage, and maintaining organized and clean operational areas in compliance with gold standards. The Omni Supervisor directly manages a team, supports their development through coaching and training, and ensures operational procedures are followed to meet service level agreements.

Job Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1 year experience overseeing a team of 5 or more employees in a professional setting
  • Demonstrated ability in goal setting and meeting deadlines
  • Skilled in organizing workflow and assigning tasks
  • Experience supporting staff and reporting to upper management
  • Ability to monitor employee productivity effectively
  • Strong communication skills for relaying information to Club Leadership
  • Proven leadership capabilities including team member engagement and coaching
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering strategic objectives
  • Commitment to outstanding member service
  • Open shift availability
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Previous order pulling experience preferred
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred
  • Computer proficiency required

Job Duties

  • Process member orders in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list using RF devices
  • Update merchandise locations and operate equipment to maintain consistency and organization
  • Utilize handheld scanner devices proficiently to pick and verify orders
  • Communicate inventory or equipment issues with Home Office and suggest process improvements
  • Identify expired or short-dated items on pick lists and escalate concerns to Club Leadership
  • Ensure timely order picking to meet productivity and service level agreements
  • Teach, coach, and train Omni Experience Ambassadors on policies and best practices
  • Directly manage team member performance, provide feedback, and support talent development
  • Coordinate with club team to pull merchandise from reserve areas when possible
  • Print staging tickets, packing slips, and shipping labels
  • Securely package orders following standard procedures
  • Maintain neat, clean, and organized SFC/BOPIC areas and perform housekeeping duties
  • Handle damaged goods and spoiled products per procedures
  • Process returns and determine handling methods
  • Review and manage daily and weekly OMNI reporting
  • Meet OMNI productivity expectations related to SLAs and metrics
  • Maintain club policies, procedures, and dress code adherence
  • Perform other assigned duties including supporting other departments
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance as an essential function
