Job Description
Our hotel is a well-established hospitality establishment strategically located just across the street from Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) and only about four miles from Lambeau Field, the iconic home of the Green Bay Packers. This prime location offers unparalleled convenience for travelers and sports enthusiasts alike. Additionally, guests have seamless access to Oneida Casino via an interior walkway, a perfect spot for entertainment with its exciting tables and slot games. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Thornberry Creek at Oneida offers exceptional golf experiences less than seven miles away, making our hotel an ideal choice for a blend of work, leisure, and recreation.
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as House Attendants in a part-time capacity, strictly working on weekends – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This role is perfect for enthusiastic and detail-oriented candidates who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about providing exceptional service.
As a House Attendant, you will be the essential backbone behind the scenes who ensures that every public area within the hotel sparkles with cleanliness and order. You will maintain impeccable sanitation standards, guaranteeing that lobbies, restrooms, carpets, and furniture are presented in the best possible condition at all times. Beyond cleanliness, you will act as a warm and friendly face for guests, responding promptly and with genuine hospitality to their needs and requests.
Your responsibilities extend further into event support, where you will assist in setting up meeting rooms and special events, ensuring every detail is meticulously arranged for a seamless and enjoyable experience. This role also encompasses an important safety and security component, where you will be entrusted with safeguarding sensitive areas, managing lost-and-found items responsibly, and adhering strictly to safe work practices to uphold a secure environment for everyone.
This hands-on role is ideal for candidates who have an eagle eye for detail, an upbeat and ready-for-anything attitude, and an unwavering passion for making every guest's day better. The role requires physical activity, so candidates must be prepared for tasks that are physically demanding. In return, you will find working with us to be an energetic and rewarding adventure.
Our ideal candidates will have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior hospitality experience considered a strong plus. If your role involves driving responsibilities, you must hold a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. We also value calmness under pressure and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
For those who progress to full-time roles following an initial waiting period, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our team members’ well-being and future. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability income, term life and AD&D insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. We also offer an exciting daily pay option to help meet immediate financial needs, details of which can be discussed with your recruiter.
Join us and become part of a team that prides itself on professionalism, stellar guest service, and an inviting atmosphere. Help us maintain a welcoming environment where our guests and colleagues alike feel valued and respected. If you are looking for a weekend job that combines meaningful tasks, customer interaction, and great team support, this House Attendant position might be your perfect fit.
