We are currently seeking a seasoned Cook III to join our culinary team, a role designed for a skilled culinary professional who possesses leadership prowess and a commitment to excellence in food quality and presentation. As Cook III, you will oversee the preparation of food across multiple dining outlets, ensuring each dish meets our high standards. Your leadership and supervisory skills will be instrumental in guiding kitchen operations, which include directing culinary staff, maintaining efficient workflow, and ensuring health and food safety standards are met. Your role extends to problem solving in dynamic environments, requiring quick, thoughtful decision-making to handle challenges tactfully while maintaining smooth kitchen operations.

This position demands proficiency with financial information related to kitchen management, including monitoring budget expenses and making decisions that align with cost-effective practices without compromising quality. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will facilitate clear and active exchanges with both your team members and guests to promote a collaborative kitchen environment. The Cook III will champion food safety compliance, promote cleanliness, and uphold organizational standards to provide a hazard-free workspace.

Candidates should ideally have at least seven years of progressively responsible culinary experience or be culinary graduates with a minimum of two years’ progressive experience specifically within hotels or related fields. A valid Food Handlers Certification as per state regulations is required to ensure adherence to health and safety requirements.
