Job Description
We are a trendy, award-winning pet grooming studio located in the vibrant neighborhood of Lower Highland. Known for our exceptional service and dedication to pet care, we have built a strong reputation as a trusted name in the community for all pet grooming needs. As a family-owned and operated establishment, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, fun, and supportive workplace where both our team and clients feel valued and appreciated. Our studio is not just about grooming pets; it is about enhancing the bond between pets and their owners by providing top-quality care in a welcoming environment.
We are currently seeking a reliable, responsible animal lover to join our team as a receptionist. This role is crucial as it is the first point of contact for our clients, both humans and their pets. The ideal candidate will be positive and upbeat, contributing to a friendly atmosphere that makes every client feel super welcome and important. The position involves a range of responsibilities including welcoming clients, scheduling appointments for new and existing clients, answering phone calls, and making outgoing calls as needed. Given our complex scheduling system, being a detail-oriented individual is highly beneficial. Additionally, because we operate a busy shop, the ability to multitask effectively is essential.
This receptionist role offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.29. Both part-time (25-32 hours) and full-time positions are available, providing flexibility depending on your availability. Starting from six months of employment, employees are considered for raises, reflecting our commitment to recognizing and rewarding dedication and performance. One unique perk of working with us is the opportunity to explore grooming under the guidance of our award-winning, nationally certified master groomers (NCMG). This is an optional benefit that does not affect your role as a receptionist but can provide a valuable pathway for those interested in advancing their skills and career within the pet grooming industry.
At our studio, individuality is embraced, and employees are encouraged to wear their own clothes to express their personal style. This laid-back approach contributes to the vibrant and inclusive culture we nurture. Joining our team means becoming part of a supportive community that values teamwork, respect, and a shared passion for animals. If you are looking for a role where you can combine your love for animals with your organizational skills in a lively and rewarding environment, this receptionist position is an excellent fit.
