With its focus on specialty medications, particularly in fields such as oncology, CareMed ensures patients receive tailored treatments and comprehensive services that enhance their health outcomes and quality of life.

The company operates with a patient-centered approach, emphasizing personalized care and seamless coordination with healthcare providers. This role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with flexible schedules ranging from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST or 10:30 am to 7:00 pm CST. The position offers the flexibility of remote work, catering to diverse candidate needs and supporting work-life balance. Starting compensation begins at $23.00 per hour, reflecting the company’s commitment to competitive remuneration. An attractive sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for employees who begin their tenure before July 31, 2026, further highlighting CareMed’s investment in talented professionals.

The Oncology Concierge Technician plays a pivotal role within CareMed's specialty pharmacy team. This position supports pharmacists, technician leads, supervisors, and managers in managing daily workflows related to dispensing specialty prescription medications. Technicians will be integral in ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed accurately and efficiently each day. Key responsibilities include providing first-call resolution assistance to healthcare providers and patients, responding promptly to inquiries, coordinating medication deliveries, collecting co-payments, and managing inbound call communications using exemplary customer service practices.

Additionally, Oncology Concierge Technicians are expected to understand and apply unique attributes and business rules related to manufacturer programs that partner with CareMed Concierge Services. This includes verifying on-label medication status, facilitating HUB enrollment opportunities, updating pending patient records, and performing activities in conformance with state and federal regulations, including Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS).

Maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment is essential, as is adherence to patient confidentiality laws and organizational code of ethics.
