Over the past 25 years, the company has built a reputation for being hard-working, innovative, and collaborative, developing next-generation antibody technology platforms. These advancements encompass bispecific T-cell engagers, antibody-drug conjugates, next-generation immune checkpoint modulators, and effector function-enhanced antibodies. Genmab’s vision for 2030 is to transform the lives of people living with cancer and other serious diseases with its unique Knock-Your-Socks-Off® (KYSO®) antibody medicines. The company is deeply committed to a culture where individuals' unique contributions are valued, driving innovative solutions that meet the needs of patients, care partners, families, and employees. This emphasis on compassion, authenticity, and determination forms the backbone of Genmab’s global workplace environment, where science is at the core of solving serious health challenges.
The Oncology Account Manager role at Genmab is critical to this mission. This position is designed for a clinical and business leader who will build and maintain strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including private practices, medical group practices, hospitals/academic medical centers, office, and ancillary staff involved in cancer patient care. The Oncology Account Manager represents Genmab’s values by providing approved disease and product information to decision-makers and stakeholders within an assigned territory, which includes Fort Myers, Sarasota, and Tampa in Florida. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of these areas. The role demands a strategic approach to account management, emphasizing effective time management, robust business planning, and adaptability between virtual and in-person engagements. The Oncology Account Manager must be adept at analyzing market data to inform business strategies that drive brand value and prioritize patient-centered activities. This position requires a thorough understanding of disease states, Genmab’s brand portfolio, competitor products, and reimbursement pathways for injectable medications. Furthermore, seamless territory management, superior selling skills, and the ability to creatively gain access to customers in a changing landscape are essential. The role also fosters collaboration across teams to achieve shared goals and includes compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Genmab’s policies. Genmab offers a competitive salary band of $160,000 to $240,000 for U.S.-based candidates, with potential bonuses and long-term incentives. Beyond competitive compensation, Genmab promotes comprehensive wellness by providing benefits such as a 401(k) plan with full matching on the first 6% contributions, multiple medical plan options including HDHP with HSA, dental and vision insurance, voluntary critical illness and accident insurance, paid time off including parental leave, and various support resources plus additional perks such as commuter benefits and tuition reimbursement. Working at Genmab means joining a culture that values diversity, encourages innovative problem-solving, and fosters a dynamic, agile work environment dedicated to transforming cancer treatment and serious diseases.
