Job Description

Pan American Properties, Inc. is a respected property management company committed to fostering thriving residential communities through exceptional management and dedicated service. Renowned for managing a diverse portfolio of properties across California, Pan American Properties places a strong emphasis on leadership, community engagement, and the well-being of both their residents and employees. They offer a range of modern living accommodations supported by comprehensive management strategies designed to maximize both resident satisfaction and operational excellence. Passionate about empowering their teams, Pan American Properties invests in professional development and ensures a supportive work environment that values accountability, transparency, and growth.

One of their notable properties, Hallmark at Mission Apartments located in Ontario, CA, is a vibrant community comprising 50 fully renovated units. This charming residential complex features 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartments with premium amenities including in-unit HVAC systems, on-site washer and dryer facilities, private garage parking, and communal facilities such as a clubhouse and a pool. Pets are welcome, making it a family-friendly option for long-term living. A unique aspect of this opportunity is the on-site residency requirement, allowing the property manager to live and lead within the community directly on the premises in a discounted 2-bedroom apartment, fostering a seamless connection with the residents they serve.

The role of the On-Site Resident Manager at Hallmark at Mission Apartments is a full-time position, offering a competitive pay rate of $30.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This pivotal role focuses on cultivating a welcoming and well-maintained community atmosphere while managing all operational, administrative, and financial aspects of property management. The On-Site Resident Manager is expected to actively engage with residents, addressing their needs and concerns promptly, enforcing lease policies fairly, and ensuring all community amenities are functioning and well-maintained within budget.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience as an on-site property manager, demonstrating proficiency in financial management, tenant relations, and maintenance oversight. Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant laws, Fair Housing regulations, and property management software is essential. In addition, excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills are critical to succeed in this fast-paced, high-energy environment. This role demands a blend of autonomy and collaboration, where the manager operates independently while having the full support of corporate and maintenance teams.

Pan American Properties is committed to creating communities where residents feel valued and supported. As such, the On-Site Resident Manager will play a key role in ensuring maximum occupancy through effective marketing strategies, handling lease agreements, overseeing move-ins and move-outs, and maintaining detailed records. This includes conducting routine property inspections, managing repair and maintenance requests, monitoring resident compliance, and mediating when necessary to maintain a peaceful living environment.

Emphasizing a culture of growth and continuous improvement, Pan American Properties offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, short-term disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. The company prioritizes work-life balance and personal development, making this an exceptional opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a stable career with meaningful impact in property management. Overall, this position invites a proactive, personable, and dedicated individual to become an integral part of the Hallmark at Mission community and the broader Pan American Properties family.
