The On-Premise Representative role within Constellation Brands is a full-time, field-based sales position located in Chicago, Illinois. The position plays a crucial role in driving growth and brand visibility within the on-premise segment, which includes bars, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This role requires a passionate individual with a deep interest in beer and a strong ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders. The representative acts as a local brand ambassador for the Constellation Beer portfolio, responsible for increasing product availability, boosting sales in both draft and package formats, and enhancing consumer loyalty through education and promotional activities.
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of On-Premise Market Execution, the On-Premise Representative is tasked with building and nurturing strong relationships within assigned accounts, executing sales initiatives, and activating brand experiences on the ground. The role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a flexible schedule that can accommodate evenings and weekends typical of the hospitality industry. Candidates should expect frequent travel within their market territory as well as occasional travel for meetings and training events. This position offers a competitive salary range from $58,600.00 to $84,400.00. Success in this position is measured by the ability to secure new product placements, maintain optimal stock rotation and point-of-sale materials accuracy, and effectively activate marketing programs to drive consumer engagement and sales growth. Additionally, the representative monitors competitive activity and market trends to provide valuable insights to leadership, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Occasional travel for meetings and trainings
- Regular travel in the market to service accounts and distributors
- Must be able to travel via plane/train as needed
- Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently and achieve goals
- Ability to build strong relationships and adjust to change
- Must be able to move up to 55 lbs
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods
- Primary work environment in trade

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience is preferred
- Approximately 1 year of proven results-oriented experience in outside sales or within the food and beverage industry preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Computer literacy with advanced ability in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to utilize business information and sales reporting tools
- Strong planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
Job Duties
- Develop and manage relationships with key on-premise accounts within the assigned territory
- Achieve sales targets and distribution goals by executing sales initiatives, securing new placements in both package and draft format, and increasing volume at existing accounts
- Conduct regular account visits to ensure proper product placement, stock rotation, and point-of-sale (POS) material execution
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence among on-premise accounts
- Plan and execute on-premise events, samplings, staff trainings, and promotions to drive brand awareness and trial
- Educate account staff and consumers on products, features, benefits, and unique selling points
- Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and consumer preferences and report findings regularly to sales leadership
- Maintain accurate records of sales calls, account activity, activation feedback, expenses, and market activity
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and distributor work-withs to enhance alignment and market execution
- Represent the company at local industry events, festivals, promotions, and trade shows as needed
