The starting hourly rate for this role is $15.00 USD. As an On-Demand Team Member (TM), you have the freedom to work as much or as little as you want by selecting shifts that suit you via the myTime mobile scheduling app. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a personalized work schedule that accommodates other commitments while still engaging in a dynamic retail environment.
The Guest Advocate role at Target is pivotal to delivering exceptional customer service experiences. On any given day, a Guest Advocate may greet guests, assist with product inquiries, provide support for digital and in-store services, and facilitate smooth checkout experiences. You will be empowered to help guests with various store functions including gift registry, pick-up, drive-up orders, and loyalty program enrollments. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 18 years or older
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- ability to respond to leadership contact regarding shifts
- capability to work at least one shift every four weeks
- ability to remain mobile during scheduled shifts
- capability to work in varying temperatures and elements
- adherence to company safety and compliance policies
- strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- basic knowledge of retail technology and services

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete your daily tasks

- be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the store to improve guest experience
- accurately scan and bag guest items while minimizing wait time
- promote Target loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
- support order pick-up, drive-up, and registry guest services
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- comply with safety policies and report hazards
- support cash office processes as needed
- assist in de-escalating situations and recovering guest experiences
- execute all other duties based on business needs
