Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to respond promptly to shift notifications
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Availability to work at least one shift every four weeks
- Completion of Target Welcome orientation and training
- Ability to stand or remain mobile for entire shift duration
- Capability to work in varying environmental conditions including temperature and humidity
- Willingness to adhere to safety, ethical conduct and compliance guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Positive and welcoming attitude toward guests and team members
- Basic cash handling skills and proficiency operating handheld technology
- Ability to lift up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and improve their experience
- Scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- Promote and explain benefits of Target loyalty programs and assist with sign-up
- Support guest services such as Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- Comply with all safety policies and report hazards
- Support Cash Office processes including cash system management
