As an On-Demand Team Member, you become a vital part of the team, focused on delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable shopping experience. The responsibilities largely center on being a Guest Advocate, where your primary mission is to engage positively with guests, answer questions, help solve problems, and promote Target's loyalty programs and services. The role is highly interactive and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed and efficient in a fast-paced retail environment.

Your tasks will include greeting and assisting guests, scanning and bagging merchandise with speed and accuracy, managing returns and exchanges according to company policies, and supporting various service areas like order pick-up, drive-up, and registry services. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the workspace and stock areas is also essential to help maintain an inviting store atmosphere.

This role demands a commitment to reliability, requiring team members to pick up and work shifts regularly—at least once every four weeks—to remain in good standing. Job Requirements

  • ability to handle cash register operations accurately
  • capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
