Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times
- ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- capability to lift and move merchandise up to 44 pounds
- reliable and prompt attendance
- must work at least one shift within 5 months or employment will be administratively terminated
- ability to remain mobile for the duration of scheduled shifts
- willingness to respond to communication attempts regarding shift availability
- ability to handle exposure to varying temperatures and humidity while performing certain duties
Job Qualifications

Job Duties

- be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience

- scan and bag all guest items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices
- work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and accuracy
- make the guest aware of current and upcoming brand launches, store activities and events
- know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs with every guest and assist with application or sign-up as needed
- understand and show guests how to use Wallet and the other features and offerings within the Target App
- attempt every return and follow register prompts, partnering with immediate leaders as needed to help solve for the guest while following Targets policies and procedures
- partner with leaders as needed to de-escalate any situations and recover the guest shopping experience while following Targets policies and procedures
- deliver easy and accurate service to all order pick up, drive up, and registry guests
- maintain a clean, clutter free work area including gathering abandoned items, baskets, and hangers
- stock supplies during store open hours while being available for the guest
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
- work in a safe manner at all times, comply with all safety policies, best practices and training, report hazards and correct where possible
- support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up orders, DU returns and maintain a compliance culture while executing those duties
