The role of an On-Demand Team Member (TM) at Target is a flexible, dynamic position designed to accommodate varying schedules and shifting store needs. On-Demand TMs are not part of the posted weekly schedule; instead, they have the autonomy to select shifts suitable to their personal availability via the myTime mobile scheduling app. This personalized scheduling model makes the role ideal for individuals seeking flexibility in their work hours, enabling them to work as little or as much as they prefer. However, commitment to reliable attendance and active engagement in picking up shifts is crucial for continued employment, with a minimum expectation of working one shift every four weeks. As an On-Demand Team Member, you will primarily function as a Guest Advocate, playing a vital part in creating an exceptional guest experience. This involves welcoming guests warmly, assisting them with inquiries, and ensuring their shopping is smooth and enjoyable. You will be knowledgeable about Target’s products, services, and loyalty programs to guide guests effectively. Your responsibilities will also cover operating registers, scanning and bagging items, supporting various fulfillment services such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards. You will receive structured training and orientation to prepare you adequately, equipping you with the skills necessary to handle a variety of guest interactions, problem-solving scenarios, and technology tools.
