Unlike traditional roles with fixed schedules, On-Demand TMs have the unique opportunity to select shifts via the myTime mobile app posted by team leaders or fellow team members. This flexibility makes the position ideal for those who seek a personalized schedule and variety in work hours.

As an On-Demand TM, punctuality, reliability, and active engagement are critical. Employees are expected to attend shifts promptly once accepted and maintain consistent communication with management. To remain active in the role, an On-Demand TM must work at least one shift every four weeks, with a minimum of four working hours, ensuring alignment with store demands for operations. Failure to maintain consistent engagement or communicate effectively may result in termination. New hires will undergo a brief yet structured training program and orientation to prepare them for success in their role. After training, the employee fully controls their scheduled hours through the convenience of the mobile scheduling app.

The role primarily involves guest service and support across various store functions, emphasizing courteous interaction and problem-solving to enhance the customer shopping experience. Responsibilities include engaging with guests warmly, handling transactions with accuracy, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and assisting with services like order pickup, drive-up, gift registries, and loyalty program enrollment. The Guest Advocate position within this role is critical in embodying Target’s service culture by welcoming every guest, addressing queries, and promoting available store benefits and services.

Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, a helpful and welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
