Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- ability to handle cash register and cash transactions accurately
- capability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- reliable attendance and active engagement in picking up shifts
- ability to respond promptly to contact attempts from leadership
- capable of working under varying temperature and environmental conditions
- mobility to stay on feet for the duration of scheduled shifts
- minimum commitment to work at least one shift every four weeks

- Effective communication skills including positive language and attentiveness to guests
- ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- engage with guests in a helpful and welcoming way to solve their specific needs
- be knowledgeable about store products, services, and tools to improve the guest experience
- scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately in compliance with food safety and company standards
- minimize guest wait time while maintaining accuracy and service quality
- promote Target loyalty programs and assist guests with enrollments and applications
- manage order pick up, drive up, and registry guest services ensuring exceptional quality
- maintain a clean and clutter-free work area including gathering abandoned items
- comply with safety policies and ethical conduct standards
- support cash office processes and handle cash register operations when needed
- partner with leaders to de-escalate situations and recover guest shopping experiences
- support all other duties based on business needs
