This role is for an On-Demand Team Member (TM), which offers a flexible work schedule ideal for individuals looking to balance personal commitments while earning competitive pay at a starting rate of $18.25 USD per hour. On-Demand Team Members have the unique opportunity to create their own schedules by selecting available shifts through Target’s dedicated myTime mobile scheduling app. This role emphasizes reliability, attendance, and engagement, requiring team members to work at least one shift every 4 weeks and maintain communication with leadership to ensure continued employment. Periodic orientation and training sessions are mandatory to prepare team members to meet the company’s high standards of guest service and operational excellence.
As an On-Demand TM in the Guest Advocate position, you will be at the forefront of creating welcoming, positive experiences for Target guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, helping resolve shopping concerns, promoting Target’s loyalty programs and digital tools, and assisting with services such as order pickup and drive-up. Job Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must respond to contact attempts for shift confirmations
- Must work at least one shift every five months to maintain employment
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
- Completion of required onboarding and training sessions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
