Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- ability to lift or move items up to 44 pounds occasionally
- flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- capable of standing and being mobile for entire shift duration
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- must complete Target orientation and training
- active engagement in picking up shifts at least once every 4 weeks
- responsive to communication from leadership
- able to work in varying temperature conditions
- compliant with safety policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
- strong communication skills
- ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- comfortable using technology and handheld devices
- positive and welcoming attitude
- ability to work independently and in a team
- basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- greet guests warmly while performing daily tasks
- engage with guests to assist and solve their needs
- be knowledgeable about store products, tools, and services to improve guest experience
- scan and bag items efficiently and accurately
- promote loyalty programs and assist with guest sign-up
- handle returns and follow store policies
- support order pickup, drive-up, and registry services
- maintain clean and organized work area
- comply with safety policies and report hazards
- collaborate with leaders to resolve customer issues
- accurately manage cash register and transactions
- perform all other duties as assigned based on business needs
