In this role, employees are expected to actively participate by working at least one shift every four weeks, each shift being a minimum of four hours. Failure to engage regularly or respond to communications may result in termination. New hires are required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and complete a structured training program designed to equip them with all the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in the position.

On-Demand Team Members primarily focus on providing superior guest service as Guest Advocates, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
