The role of Roving Cleaner at Pegasus is a dynamic and essential position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout various commercial buildings. This role offers a varying schedule and an hourly pay rate of $20.00, reflecting the importance and value of the duties performed. As a Roving Cleaner, you will be responsible for cleaning offices, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, and other common areas, ensuring these spaces remain inviting and hygienic. The position requires filling in for staff members who may be on vacation, leave, or sick, making flexibility and adaptability key attributes for success. The cleaner will operate various cleaning equipment, including walk-behind floor cleaning machines when applicable, and will be tasked with dusting, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and maintaining janitorial supplies.

Attention to detail is crucial in this role, as the Roving Cleaner will also polish furniture, clean windows and doors, restock supplies in break rooms and restrooms, and keep janitorial equipment in a safe and operable condition. The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, kneeling, and being on your feet for an entire shift is necessary. While proficiency in English is not mandatory, it is highly recommended to ensure smooth communication with colleagues and clients. The role may require overtime, holiday work, and adjustments to the schedule, highlighting the need for open availability. Pegasus also values employees with floor care experience and those with GMP Micro Cleaner experience, which are considered advantageous.
