We are currently seeking On-Call Valet Attendants to join the AAA Parking family. This position is ideal for individuals who have a warm, friendly demeanor, a polished and professional appearance, and a dedication to providing exceptional guest service. As an On-Call Valet Attendant, you will serve as the first and last point of contact for guests arriving at and departing from various hospitality venues, including hotels and event locations. Your role will involve welcoming and assisting guests with their vehicles, providing information about the venue, and ensuring a seamless and efficient parking experience.

In this role, you will be responsible for greeting guests with a positive attitude, assisting with luggage and coats, and opening doors to enhance guest comfort. You will handle vehicle retrieval and parking with care, ensuring all vehicles are parked safely and efficiently while maintaining an organized system for vehicle keys. As an ambassador of AAA Parking, maintaining a clean and professional appearance in line with uniform standards is essential to reflect the company’s commitment to excellence.

Collaboration and communication with hotel staff and fellow team members are crucial to coordinate smooth guest arrivals and departures. You will be expected to uphold all safety protocols and report any accidents or incidents immediately to ensure a secure environment for both guests and their vehicles. The role also requires flexibility in scheduling, as shifts are determined based on business needs, including event support and flexible day availability.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to make extra money while gaining experience in the hospitality and customer service industry. Candidates should be comfortable standing throughout their shift and be capable of handling the physical demands associated with vehicle handling tasks. Prior experience in hospitality or a high-end customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to stand 100% of the shift and meet physical requirements such as lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds, and carrying up to 10 pounds
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs
  • Successfully pass a background and driving record check

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome arriving and departing guests in a proper manner
  • Communicate and answer customer questions clearly and professionally
  • Open car and hotel doors for guests and assist with coats and luggage
  • Provide information about hotel services, local points of interest, and entertainment attractions
  • Assist guests with special needs or disabilities
  • Fill out valet tickets properly and conduct vehicle damage checks
  • Retrieve and park vehicles quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain keys in an organized and secure manner
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and well-groomed appearance
  • Ensure the valet area is clean, organized, and inviting
  • Work closely with hotel staff to facilitate smooth guest arrivals and departures
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues to coordinate valet operations
  • Support team members during busy periods or special events
  • Follow safety protocols and report any accidents, injuries, or incidents immediately
  • Perform routine inspections of the valet area and equipment
