The role of Floating On-Call Receptionist is an integral component of the high-rise property operations team. As a Floating On-Call Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of community areas during evening and overnight hours, generally between 3 PM and 8 AM. The position requires flexibility to cover various shifts as needed, often on an on-call basis across multiple locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, and Phoenix. Compensation for this role ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, commensurate with experience and education. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments with diverse administrative tasks and excellent opportunities for customer interaction.
Your primary responsibilities will include greeting visitors warmly, handling resident phone calls efficiently, and performing general administrative duties such as updating ownership records and managing mail distribution. You will also be pivotal in facilitating access to community amenities by handling fee transactions and distributing access cards or equipment as required by the community. Additionally, you will process maintenance work orders, follow up on their status to ensure timely completion, and assist community management in various tasks as assigned. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding communication skills, attentiveness to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a professional demeanor capable of diffusing tense situations.
This position demands the ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while prioritizing multiple tasks as new demands arise. Job Duties
- cover various shifts as needed
- greet all guests with a warm smile and inviting attitude
- receive and respond to resident phone calls
- redirect as appropriate
- meet with inquiring homeowners in lobby as may be appropriate
- facilitate amenity access including acceptance/transmittal of fees and distribution of access cards and other equipment to homeowners
- update new/existing owners' information forms in the appropriate system daily or as required
- sort incoming mail, faxes, and courier deliveries for distribution
- enter and process work orders for maintenance requests from homeowners
- assist in follow-up on the status of work orders to ensure timely resolution and closure
- perform other community coordinator duties as assigned by amenities center manager or community manager
