Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one-year receptionist and/or customer service experience
- one-year experience with multi-line telephone system strongly preferred
- excellent interpersonal communication skills
- proficiency in MS Outlook
- ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive and professional manner
- ability to lift up to 55 pounds unassisted
- ability to perform physical tasks such as stretching, climbing steps, bending, and moving office equipment
- ability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts as needed
- ability to sit, stand and type for long periods

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service by being professional, courteous, friendly and prompt
- open and secure Cascade PBS lobby area and keep the area orderly and free of clutter
- greet and direct station guests and visitors
- handle and route internal and external calls and paging on a multi-line phone system
- refer questions and requests for information to the appropriate departments (e.g. Programming, Customer Service, Engineering, Accounting)
- accept and monitor incoming and outgoing courier deliveries including UPS and FedEx
- distribute and collect ID badges for vendors and guests, as well as tracking temporary use badges
- initiate and enforce compliance with COVID-19 protocols required to enter the building
- maintain confidentiality as appropriate
- open, sort, mark as received, and distribute daily incoming mail to internal mailboxes
- process and prepare outgoing mail
- inform recipients of incoming packages and maintain staff mailboxes
- communicate any general office equipment service needs to IT
- inventory and order lunchroom and general office supplies
- empty dishwasher each morning, restock kitchen after mail duties
- perform duties on admin task list
- staff reception desk during special events as assigned
- collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of Cascade PBS
- other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice
