The role of a Banquet Server involves comprehensive responsibilities related to event setup, food and beverage service, and guest communication. Candidates will be tasked with reviewing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to understand the specific demands of each event including menu details, room arrangements, and audiovisual requirements. This ensures that all components of the event are prepared meticulously and executed flawlessly.
A successful Banquet Server will assist the setup crew in arranging tables, buffets, and bars, and will ensure that the quality and presentation of food meet the highest standards before service begins. The position demands the preparation and serving of beverages with professionalism and promptness. Effective communication with the kitchen staff is also essential to accommodate any changes during the event, thereby maintaining seamless coordination.

Job Duties
- Review BEOs for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audiovisual needs
- Assist set-up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up
- Check quality and presentation of food before serving

- Provide prompt and professional service to all guests
- Communicate with kitchen staff to keep updated on any changes
