The pay range for this position is $19.50 to $21.00 per hour, with the final rate determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skills. The role of the Hospitality Steward is vital to the smooth operation of the estate's hospitality services. This customer-facing position supports various guest experiences by managing the setup and breakdown of wine and food tastings, maintaining cleanliness and presentation in all guest-facing areas, and ensuring all supplies, including glassware, are clean and ready for use. Hospitality Stewards play a key supportive role during events, working closely with Estate Concierges, Wine Educators, the Winery Chef, and the Events Manager. They are involved in critical behind-the-scenes functions such as preparing wine for walk-out purchases, assisting guests occasionally by carrying wine to their vehicles, and helping escort guests to and from their tasting experiences.

Daily responsibilities focus heavily on maintaining a high standard of hospitality and cleanliness throughout the estate. This includes washing and polishing glassware, maintaining tasting and special event supplies, ensuring guest bathrooms remain tidy, and keeping the “back of the house” areas neat and orderly. During special events, the Steward helps with setting up tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware, serving food and wine occasionally, and transport of event rentals and equipment to designated venues.
