The role of Guest Event Expert is integral to maintaining the highest standard of service during banquets, events, and other guest functions. This position is more than just serving guests; it is about crafting a unique and memorable experience that resonates with each visitor. Guest Event Experts carry a wide range of responsibilities that ensure smooth execution of events from start to finish. These duties include setting up and breaking down event materials, transporting supplies efficiently, taking guest orders with professionalism, and interacting directly with guests to enhance their experience. Every action by a Guest Event Expert is aimed at making transactions feel seamless and part of the overall event ambiance.
Success in this role demands adherence to key standards such as maintaining a safe workplace, strictly following company policies and procedures, and upholding the quality standards set forth by The Ritz-Carlton. Personal appearance and communications must always reflect professionalism, as these elements contribute to the overall impression guests have of the hotel. Physically, Guest Event Experts must be prepared to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and frequently engage in moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently.
