This role is centered around providing exceptional banquet service in one of Boyd Gaming's esteemed venues. The position involves the meticulous setup of banquet rooms in accordance with detailed catering specifications, including arranging linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware. Candidates will have the opportunity to engage directly with guests, offering a friendly and courteous welcome and providing excellent service by delivering food and beverages either by hand-held trays or buffet carts. This role requires attention to detail in preparing condiments and ensuring the banquet room is efficiently broken down at the conclusion of events, including the proper removal and transport of soiled items to the dishwashing area. The banquet server plays a critical part in enhancing the event experience, supporting operational efficiency, and upholding Boyd Gaming’s high standards of service and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in banquet or food service preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weight
- Must comply with all company policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Set up banquet room in accordance with catering specification sheet including linens, dishes, silverware, and glassware
- Greet guests in a friendly, courteous manner
- Serve food and beverage items to guests using hand-held trays and/or buffet carts
- Prepare and set up condiments
- Break down banquet room upon completion of function including removing soiled dishes, glassware and silverware and transport to dishwashing area
