The available position at The Bradley is the role of Banquet Server, which is an on-call opportunity ideal for motivated individuals eager to excel in banquet service within a world-class property. The Banquet Server is entrusted with crucial responsibilities that include setting up banquet rooms for various events, managing food and beverage service during functions, and ensuring effective breakdown and cleanup afterward. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of banquet or food service experience
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
  • Flexibility to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Job Qualifications

  • Two to four years of food service experience preferably in banquet service
  • Experience working in a 4-star or 5-star venue with synchronized service
  • Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks, and arranging table centerpieces
  • Serve food and beverages by picking up trays, carrying to function locations, serving guests, and clearing tables
  • Break down banquet rooms by bussing tables, putting away dirty linens and centerpieces, and vacuuming
  • Clean back hall and organize storerooms
  • Set up AM or PM break stations including coffee, tea, snacks, and beverages
  • Assist with event room setup according to meal periods and table needs
  • Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee, and stocking workstations
  • Provide excellent guest service by welcoming and interacting professionally, explaining menu items and taking into account special dietary requests
  • Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction and address guest issues promptly
  • Maintain awareness of safety issues and assist other event and restaurant staff as needed
