This is an on-call position where the individual will play a pivotal role in setting up banquet rooms, serving guests during events, and ensuring the smooth operation of banquet functions. The Banquet Server will be responsible for prepping banquet rooms by draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, and placing centerpieces; serving food and beverages; assisting with break stations; and cleaning and organizing the event spaces after functions. Job Duties
- Set up for functions including draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and putting out table centerpieces
- Serve food and beverages including picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serving food and clearing tables
- Break down banquet rooms including bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming
- Clean back hall and organize storerooms
- Set up for AM or PM break stations including coffee, tea, snacks, beverages
- Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs
- Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and stocking workstations
