Job Description

Currently, Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Banquet Server to join their team at The Bradley, a distinguished property located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Bradley exemplifies Midwestern charm combined with modern design and mirrors the authentic spirit of Fort Wayne’s community, industry, and creativity. This role is primarily on-call and offers a rewarding opportunity for both seasoned hospitality professionals and those new to the industry seeking to grow within a world-class property.

The Banquet Server will be responsible for facilitating banquet functions by preparing banquet rooms, setting up tables with draped linens, silverware, napkins, and centerpieces, as well as preparing and serving drinks and food to guests. The role encompasses bussing tables, cleaning banquet spaces, and organizing storerooms, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout events. Additional tasks include setting up AM and PM break stations, performing food and beverage preparations such as brewing coffee and stocking workstations, as well as maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the event areas. The server must also have a deep knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits to offer informed service and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

This position requires someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and can deliver synchronized service indicative of 4-star or 5-star venues. Strong communication skills and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences are essential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-4 years of food service or banquet experience
  • Ability to work on-call schedule
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of food service experience

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms including draping tables, setting silverware and napkins, preparing drinks, placing table centerpieces
  • Serve food and beverages to guests during banquet functions
  • Bus tables, clear dishes, linens, and centerpieces after events
  • Clean and sanitize tables, counters, and seats
  • Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table requirements
  • Perform food and beverage preparation duties including brewing coffee and stocking stations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storerooms and back hall areas
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues promptly
  • Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met throughout event spaces
