Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel property
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
- Willing to work a flexible on-call schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift
- Able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel property
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of banquet service standards and etiquette
- Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Job Duties
- Provide excellent service at all times to guests
- Set up tables as per brand standard
- Professionally deliver correct orders to guest tables
- Efficiently clear tables between courses throughout the event
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to all requests with urgency
- Communicate with the kitchen for any guests’ special requests and dietary requirements
- Prepare the pantry and assigned side station with sufficient Mise en Place
- Maintain back of the house areas ensuring they are neat, tidy, clean and safe
- Continuously monitor assigned section for maximum guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
