Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel property
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Willing to work a flexible on-call schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to walk and stand for the majority of the shift
  • Able to regularly lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar position in a luxury hotel property
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic operation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of banquet service standards and etiquette
  • Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent service at all times to guests
  • Set up tables as per brand standard
  • Professionally deliver correct orders to guest tables
  • Efficiently clear tables between courses throughout the event
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to all requests with urgency
  • Communicate with the kitchen for any guests’ special requests and dietary requirements
  • Prepare the pantry and assigned side station with sufficient Mise en Place
  • Maintain back of the house areas ensuring they are neat, tidy, clean and safe
  • Continuously monitor assigned section for maximum guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
