As a key member of the event support staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing banquet event orders (BEOs) to understand menu offerings, room configurations, beverage requirements, and technical needs such as audiovisual equipment. This position requires close collaboration with setup teams to prepare tables, buffets, and bars, ensuring that the event environment is both welcoming and functional. Additionally, the role involves inspecting the quality and presentation of food prior to service and preparing and serving beverages to guests. Strong communication with the kitchen staff is essential to keep everyone informed of any changes or special requests, ensuring smooth and efficient event operations. The ideal candidate will provide prompt, professional, and attentive service to all guests, contributing to memorable experiences. This role demands flexibility to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays, along with the ability to perform under high-pressure situations. Job Duties

  • Review BEOs for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio visual needs
  • Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc
  • Check quality and presentation of food before serving

  • Provide prompt and professional service to all guests
  • Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any changes
