The On-Call Banquet Server position at Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe is essential to delivering impeccable service for group and social catering events both on site and at off-site venues. This role requires a compassionate and genuine professional who embraces the Four Seasons philosophy of treating others as they wish to be treated. As a Banquet Server, you will actively support and collaborate with fellow team members, bring enthusiasm to every guest interaction, and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality through integrity and accountability.

Ideal candidates possess at least one year of banquet or food and beverage service experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, and demonstrate strong food and beverage knowledge. Flexibility in scheduling is key, with availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Candidates must also have current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications and the physical ability to stand, move around during shifts, and lift up to 30 pounds.

Day-to-day responsibilities include setting up and breaking down events with meticulous attention to detail, maintaining a strong presence throughout service areas, ensuring seamless communication within the banquet team, and providing attentive, personalized service that anticipates guest needs. You will also troubleshoot guest concerns with professionalism, accommodate special requests, and assist with inquiries related to hotel services and events.

Job Duties

  • Execute refined event setup and breakdown, ensuring all décor, tables, serviceware, and equipment meet Four Seasons standards
  • Foster strong, open communication within the banquet team to ensure flawless coordination and seamless service throughout each event
  • Serve as a confident problem solver in every guest interaction, upholding the highest levels of hospitality and professionalism
  • Accommodate special requests whenever possible and resolve guest concerns with grace and efficiency
  • Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, hours of operation, key personnel, in-house events, directions, and any other details essential to their experience
