The Banquet Server will perform service duties at events while strictly following the instructions provided by the Banquet Manager and Captains to uphold the hotel's renowned service quality. The responsibilities also include professionally cleaning up after events by carefully handling and returning glassware, china, tableware, and linens, demonstrating attention to detail and care for hotel property. Additional duties include managing side jobs like restocking condiment holders and ensuring all mis-en-place and linens are well maintained. This dynamic role requires strong communication skills to report any incidents, unusual guest requests, or accidents promptly to supervisors, facilitating timely responses and guest satisfaction. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about hotel services, demonstrate professionalism and teamwork, and comply with all health and safety regulations to maintain a secure and positive work environment.\n\nThis position is hourly, with a salary range of $10.44 to $11.32 per hour. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Reports to work on time - properly attired and groomed
- Performs set up using clean linen, silverware and glassware appropriate to the menu being served and in accordance with hotel standards
- Performs service correctly, adhering to the service rules of the hotel in accordance with instructions given by the Banquet Manager and Captains
- Performs clean up in a professional manner. Carefully separates glassware, china and tableware from the table and properly transports these items to the kitchen, as well as returning soiled linen and skirting to the laundry
- Performs assigned side jobs daily, including filling of salt and pepper shakers, sugar bowls and stocking of mis-en-place and proper linens and skirting
- Reports all incidents, accidents or unusual customer requests to the Captain or Banquet Manager in order to provide an immediate response to such requests
- Knowledgeable of hotel services and departments in order to interact with guests
- Performs all job related tasks with the utmost concern for equipment and safety for herself/himself and fellow workers
- Maintains a cooperative, professional style with supervisors and fellow workers
- Complies with workplace health and safety requirements including any department specific training regarding equipment and procedures
- Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned
