Servers will be expected to maintain thorough knowledge of all menu items to assist guests accurately and confidently, use Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently, and communicate effectively with management and fellow team members. The role also requires flexibility, as shifts may include holidays and varying hours, and it involves physical demands such as standing for long periods, carrying up to 25 pounds, and working in environments requiring the use of cleaning chemicals and exposure to warm temperatures. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months customer service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days if not certified
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus
  • Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English above a basic level
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance upholding company appearance standards at all times
  • Must be able to apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
  • Must be able to comply in standardized situations with only occasional or no variation
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts including holidays
  • Must be able to work without constant supervision
  • Must be able to work well as a part of a team
  • Must be engaging with all guest throughout meal periods
  • responding to guest and team members as required

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet all guest with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area
  • Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times
  • Assist with seating guests as needed (in the absence of the hostess)
  • Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff
  • Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner
  • Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition
  • Adhere to all brand standards regarding food and beverage and service
  • Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the restaurant
  • Assist with clearing and set-up of tables
  • Assist with restocking of supplies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with management and other team members
  • Use point of sale (POS) system as required
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager
  • Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/manager
