With a focus on sustainable and profitable growth, the company emphasizes recognizing bold ideas, ethical decisions, and impactful results that contribute to its long-term success. The company fosters an engaging and inclusive workplace where employees are empowered to grow both personally and professionally while contributing to the legacy of their legendary brands.
The role of Guest Services Team Member I at the Old Forester Distillery exemplifies the unique opportunity to be part of a storied tradition of craftsmanship and hospitality. This position is tailored for individuals passionate about creating memorable experiences and sharing the rich history behind one of the world’s most respected whiskey brands. Your daily responsibilities will span conducting 75-minute tours including educational tastings, managing front desk operations such as answering phones and booking tours, assisting in the retail shop and George’s Bar, and setting up the tasting rooms according to company guidelines.
This role demands a blend of hospitality expertise, excellent communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the distillation process and product knowledge. You will engage various guest groups, answering questions related to the fermentation, distillation, cooperage, maturation, and bottling stages, as well as detailed inquiries about Old Forester’s distinct expressions. Efficiency in guest service coordination, inventory management, and payment processing are also fundamental components. The ideal candidate will embrace a flexible schedule and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining a welcoming demeanor that fosters a seamless guest experience.

This culture of continuous improvement ensures that team members receive the training and support needed to excel, develop new skills, and advance within the company. Total rewards at Brown-Forman include a competitive base salary, holiday bonuses, and performance incentives that reflect the value the company places on its people’s contributions.
