Job Description

This job posting is for a managerial position in a McDonald's restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, separate from McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to use McDonald's logos and food products and operates the restaurant as its own business entity. Importantly, employment matters including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are managed solely by the franchisee, and McDonald's USA does not participate in these decisions. If hired, the franchisee will be your employer, and all employment-related communications and processes will be handled by them, not McDonald's USA.

The role is for a Shift Manager who will lead shifts weekly, ensuring customers receive fast, accurate, and friendly service on every visit. A Shift Manager's responsibilities include supervising crew members and other managers to maintain top-quality food production, exceptional customer service, cleanliness, and safety standards. The Shift Manager acts as a key leader during shifts, planning and monitoring performance, maintaining safety and security, managing inventory, and supporting the restaurant's profitability goals.

Shift Managers are essential in communication, sharing important information and coordinating with the succeeding shift manager to ensure seamless operations. This role demands effective leadership to motivate the team, manage schedules, and provide coaching and training to staff members.
