The Shop Manager role at Take 5 Oil Change is a unique opportunity for those who are people-oriented, driven, and natural leaders looking to make an impact in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This position offers competitive compensation with experienced managers earning $55,000 or more annually through base salaries and bonus opportunities. What sets this role apart is the company’s willingness to hire both experienced managers and those new to management, offering paid training for all employees to learn the Take 5 way. This training covers everything from shop management practices to performing light vehicle maintenance services including changing oil, air filters, wiper blades, and filling tires.

This role requires a combination of leadership, operational management, and hands-on technical skills. Shop Managers are responsible for recruiting and training new crew members, managing schedules, overseeing payroll, controlling inventory through conducting end-of-period and end-of-year audits, and handling product orders and restocking. A vital part of the job includes understanding the shop’s financials to drive success and maintain budgetary control. Managers also perform quarterly employee evaluations to foster growth and performance. Furthermore, they support their teams by actively participating in oil changes and other vehicle maintenance services, ensuring customer satisfaction through exemplary service standards.

Overall, the Shop Manager position at Take 5 Oil Change offers a fulfilling career path within a supportive company culture that values internal advancement and employee development.
