Take 5 Oil Change is currently seeking energetic, driven, and personable individuals to join their team as Shop Managers. Experienced managers can earn $55,000 or more annually through a combination of base salary and bonus incentives. This position requires skills in staff recruitment, scheduling, payroll management, inventory control, and financial oversight. Managers also contribute hands-on by assisting with vehicle services when needed, ensuring that operations run smoothly and customers leave satisfied. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3 foot deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk stand bend stoop twist etc. for extended periods and perform activities involving holding grasping pulling and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance is a plus
- Ability to manage teams and schedules effectively
- Proficiency with basic computer operations
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Recruiting interviewing onboarding and training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules and submit payroll
- Controlling inventory including conducting end of period and end of year inventory
- Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
- Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Draining motor oil changing oil filters and performing other auto services as necessary
- Providing excellent customer service
