This role is dynamic and requires hands-on participation, such as assisting crew members with automotive services and providing excellent customer service. Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods of time
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week on occasion
- Must have basic computer operating skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Leadership skills with ability to manage a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow safety standards and procedures
- Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance or willingness to learn
- Experience in retail, restaurant, or service management preferred but not required
- Computer operating skills
Job Duties
- Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules and submit payroll
- Controlling inventory including conducting end of period and end of year inventory
- Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
- Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Draining motor oil, changing oil filters, and performing other auto services as necessary
- Providing excellent customer service
