Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be willing to work early hours and up to 55 hours per week occasionally
- Must have basic computer operating skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in management or leadership roles preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Basic computer operating skills
- Customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to learn vehicle maintenance tasks through paid training
Job Duties
- Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new crew members
- Creating crew schedules and submitting payroll
- Controlling inventory, including conducting End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
- Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as needed
- Understanding the shop’s financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
- Conducting quarterly employee evaluations
- Supporting crew members with duties such as changing oil and performing other auto services
- Draining motor oil, changing oil filters, and performing other necessary auto services
- Providing excellent customer service
