The Shop Manager role at Take 5 Oil Change offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are people-oriented, driven, and natural leaders to join a thriving company in the auto service industry. The position is designed for both experienced managers and those new to management who are eager to learn and grow. Take 5 values leadership skills, but they do not require previous experience. In fact, the company offers paid training to prepare new managers in the Take 5 way of managing a shop, including performing oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires with air, and conducting other light maintenance services. Shop Managers are expected to lead their teams by ensuring adherence to company standards while maintaining a smooth and efficient workflow. The role involves managing every aspect of shop operations including recruitment, training, scheduling, payroll, inventory control, ordering supplies, and understanding the financials. The company supports its managers by providing a clear growth path, competitive salary packages (with experienced managers earning around $55,000 annually or more), and bonus opportunities based on performance. Full-time employees enjoy benefits such as paid time off, health, vision and dental insurance, and a 401(k) company match. Additionally, the company offers its employees free oil changes and access to earned wages early through the myFlexPay program. The Shop Manager will be instrumental in delivering excellent customer service and upholding Take 5’s standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time position based in Ohio, with a compensation range of $43,800 to $72,200 annually depending on experience, location, and skills. The role may require working early hours and occasionally up to 55 hours per week, reflecting the company’s commitment to customer convenience and operational excellence.
