With numerous locations across the country, Take 5 continues to expand and thrive by fostering a welcoming environment for both customers and employees alike. It is a place where career growth is highly encouraged, ensuring that every team member has the opportunity to develop professionally.
Currently, Take 5 Oil Change is seeking to add a Shop Manager to its dynamic and growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is a people person, driven, and ready to showcase their leadership skills. Whether you have prior experience in management or are eager to enter the field, this opportunity provides a clear pathway to success. The company values experience but does not require it, making it accessible for motivated individuals who are ready to grow. Shop Managers at Take 5 can expect to earn a base salary starting around $55,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities to enhance their earnings.
The Shop Manager position involves comprehensive paid training, ensuring you are well-equipped to manage a shop location, oversee oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, inflate tires, and perform other essential light maintenance duties. This position offers a rapid advancement track where, within 60 days, managers become accountable for their team's adherence to company standards and operational excellence. The role appeals to individuals from various backgrounds including those who have worked as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, or in other skilled trades.
As a Shop Manager, you’ll be the cornerstone of the shop's daily operations. You will lead a team by recruiting, training, scheduling, and managing payroll, while also being hands-on in inventory control and financial management. You will ensure that the shop meets its operational and customer service goals efficiently. The work environment includes physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, maneuvering safely in and out of shallow pits for vehicle servicing, and being comfortable working in varying weather conditions when required.
Take 5 Oil Change is committed to investing in its employees’ success, demonstrated by the fact that more than 90% of its field leadership team are promoted from within. The company fosters a supportive and family-oriented culture, offering full benefits, paid time off for full-time staff, health, vision and dental insurance, and a 401(k) company match program. Additionally, employees have early access to half of their earned wages through the myFlexPay program.
Overall, Take 5 Oil Change provides a promising career path within the automotive service industry, blending technical skill development with strong leadership opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. If you’re seeking a role that offers fast growth, steady income, and a chance to be part of a successful and expanding team, becoming a Shop Manager at Take 5 could be the perfect fit for you.
