Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot deep pit safely
- must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist for extended periods
- must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions
- must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- ability to train and lead employees
- availability to work full-time hours
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- leadership skills with a customer-focused mindset
- ability to learn and perform basic automotive maintenance tasks
- strong communication and team management skills
- experience in customer service or related field preferred but not required
- willingness to work flexible hours
- positive attitude and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
- assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager's absence
- run the floor ensuring employees are in position and vehicles are checked thoroughly
- perform opening and closing procedures
- assist with counting and adjusting inventory
- train new employees on Take 5 procedures
- drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other minor auto maintenance
- restock and maintain inventory levels
- maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness
