Currently, we are seeking an All-Campus Valet/Attendant for our client OHSU in Portland. This is a full-time position with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role offers a competitive pay rate of $18 per hour plus tips and is ideal for energetic, responsible, and dependable candidates with a passion for customer service and safe driving.
As a Valet/Attendant at SP Plus, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer experiences by interacting with clients warmly and professionally. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and safely parking vehicles, explaining valet rates, observing all traffic laws, and maintaining a clean, professional appearance. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential as you report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to management. Valet drivers at SP Plus become trusted ambassadors for our brand, often advancing within our team as they gain skills and experience.

Job Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license
- Previous customer service experience
- Clean driving record to pass MVR check
- Ability to provide accurate information to customers and respond professionally to complaints
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Availability to work special shifts if needed
- Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changes
- Ability to drive manual transmission is a plus
- Ability to safely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must come to work in complete uniform
- Must be punctual and dependable
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous parking experience desired
- Ability to drive manual transmission highly desired but not required
- Clean driving record to pass MVR check
- Valid state driver’s license
- Availability to work special shifts if needed, including 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or weekends
- Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S.
- Ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints
- Ability to read, write, add, and subtract U.S. currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working
Job Duties
- Deliver on our promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients through resolving client requests and concerns efficiently
- Find new ways to solve problems that may arise
- Communicate proactively with clients
- Inspect every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings
- Explain valet rates to customers
- Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices
- Report all accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management
- Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure customers have a seamless transportation experience
- Come to work in a clean uniform every scheduled shift, on time, and ready to work
- Remain in complete uniform for the entirety of your shift
- Assist management with additional duties as assigned
