The role of Service Specialist at Opensity is a dynamic and essential position focused on providing a wide array of administrative support services to clients. The Service Specialist's duties are diverse and engaging, involving multiple facets of client support. Key responsibilities include managing mail services—which involve metering, sorting, and distributing mail and accountable packages efficiently according to schedules. Copy services require the precise production and handling of printing, copying, and scanning tasks as per client instructions. Reception duties encompass answering and directing inbound telephone calls and warmly greeting visitors, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.

Additionally, the role involves hospitality services, coordinating and maintaining client conference rooms, common areas, and kitchens to ensure cleanliness, supply availability, and readiness for continual use. This responsibility includes inventory control and replenishing kitchen supplies as needed. Floor coordination tasks include upkeep of copy rooms, stocking general supplies, delivering paper, and handling daily basic maintenance to support facility operations.

Facilities services may include managing small office moves, hanging pictures, coordinating cleaning services, and serving as a communication liaison regarding building or equipment issues. This aspect of the job demands physical stamina and the ability to perform duties such as lifting up to 40 pounds, moving packages on wheeled carts, and spending extended periods walking, bending, kneeling, standing, or sitting.
