The role of Office Receptionist is critical to the smooth operation of the office and serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. This position requires a professional and friendly demeanor, as the receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients upon arrival, offering beverages, and ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to. The receptionist will also communicate with financial advisors to let them know when their clients have arrived, ensuring meetings proceed efficiently. Additionally, the receptionist answers the main phone line, providing general information such as directions to the office and addressing any client inquiries. Maintaining the reception and kitchen areas, ordering supplies, and handling tasks like submitting work orders to the building management for cleaning or parking passes are also key responsibilities. Job Duties

  • Sit up front at reception desk
  • Greeting clients at door, offering beverages
  • Letting advisors know clients are ready to meet
  • Answer main phone line, general questions like directions to office etc
  • Stock coffee and beverages front and back of house
  • Submit work orders to building cleaning, FOB’s, Parking passes etc
  • Order supplies for office
  • Binding plans for meetings
  • Tidy kitchen area, load and empty dishwasher
