The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology at MSU Denver offers comprehensive academic programs including Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology, Cybersecurity, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity, along with graduate-level Cybersecurity certificates. Responsibilities encompass managing front desk operations, handling departmental communications, coordinating events such as career fairs, open houses, convocations, K-12 visits, and other special programs. The role also includes maintaining departmental calendars, managing facilities access, and liaising with IT to resolve minor technical issues. Additional duties include supporting faculty and students with academic advising logistics, managing student employment, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of student workers. The role also involves contributing to department marketing and outreach through social media and website management, developing promotional materials in collaboration with graphic designers, and maintaining an alumni database.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills along with technological proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to learn new software and systems quickly. The position offers a competitive salary range from $53,000 to $59,550 per year and is eligible for MSU Denver’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, vision, and dental coverage, tuition reimbursement, retirement plans, and more.

MSU Denver prioritizes diversity, equity, and inclusion, striving to create an environment where every community member experiences belonging and the opportunity to succeed both personally and professionally.
